Simply Design Too

Hi everyone! Today is a new challenge day at Simply create too! The theme is white, Black and another color, and I decided to make a card with layering dies and gold foil.    I created a window card.  I used one of my 3 heart layering dies to create a window on the top flap of my Card. I used two of them to die cut the bottom layer from black cardstock and the top layer from Thermoweb toner paper, which I foiled with Couture creations foil. I closed my card and glued the two hearts stacked together inside the... [Lire la suite]

Valentine's card - Simply Create Too DT inspiration

Hello fellow crafter!   Today is the first day to participate to Simply Create Too Monthly Challenge and I would like to share with you my DT inspiration... Don't hesitate to pay a visit to the other DT members!  For this month's theme, Red+another color, I created two Valentine's cards combining red +gold and white.  I die cut tiny little hearts in red cardstock background from Simon Says Stamp (schoolhouse red) and from glitter cardstock. I die cut the word love too from both cardstock and a bigger... [Lire la suite]

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge : Something clear

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing with you my entry to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge : Something clear. I made this fun card:   For my base, I used a very pale turquoise cardstock. I glued a panel of white cardstock which I embossed with the gorgeous "Flourish" embossing folder by Kaisercraft. I die cut a circle out of pattern paper and as my "something clear", I applied Moonstone glimmer paste from Nuvo through my Simon Says Stamp Circular lace cherished stencil. This paste is stunning, I love it and... [Lire la suite]

Hi again...  What, a second post in a few hours? Let's just say that I have been really creative and inspired lately. And when I saw this week Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge,  Clean and Simple, I decided I had to give it a try. Check it out too, they have many gorgeous entries... One of my favorite is from a card maker I just discovered, @mycraftyperspective on Instagram. Her cards are so neat and simple, yet delicate. I... [Lire la suite]

Cute panda card "hugs" for Simon Says Stamp Insta Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing with you one of my entries to Simon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge for August, "Die Cutting". And let me tell you... I had a blast.   Can I say how much I enjoyed stamping this cute little panda over and over on my card panel? It took a while, but I found it very relaxing... I used Simon Says Stamp premium dye ink"DeepSea", Hero Art Shadow Ink "Antigua", and my distressinks in Pine Needle and Peacock feathers.   I stamped each image twice to get a smooth result and thanks to my... Blog Hop Connie and Friends : This Magical Moment

Hello crafty friends ! Today I am sharing something very special with you : my very first blog hop ! The theme is Mickey or anything Disney, and I created a lovely card :  I cut an A4 sheet of paper un half and then folded one half in two: this was my card base. After that, I die cut a rectangle with polka dots as a background out of a pink piece of paper and glued it on the front of my card base. On top of it, I used a mini card with Minnie Mouse (I got rid of the back of it) and glued it on top on my dotty background. I... [Lire la suite]

Christmas card/Carte de Noël

Hello crafty friends !   It has been a while I didn't post...Sorry for that, a lot has been going lately and I had very little time for myself (which I spent creating, of course:)). I am sharing this lovely Christmas card with you today :    For this card, I applied a few layers of Distress inks by Ranger (Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Faded Jeans) that I tried to blend together. I glued some stars that I cut with my Sizzix machine, 3 mint triangles of different shapes and different pattern, and a chipboard... [Lire la suite]

Simon Says Stamp challenge: "Splatter It"/ Défi Simon Says Stamp: "

Hello Crafty friends !   Today,  I am going to share with you my last participation to the Smon Says Stamp challenge. This is the Wednesday challenge for this week, and it is called "Splatter it". I really like to splatter my work or create dots, but splatters give a more grungy look. For this challenge, I created this card :  I used a thick sheet of black paper, but I don't remember the paperweight of it. Then, I used my Prima Marketing Watercolor Metallic Accents to make the splatters. I used three colors :... [Lire la suite]

Card "It's a boy" /Carte de naissance "it's a boy"

Hello everyone,   I am sharing with you today this card I made for a friend who got a baby a few weeks ago. This is also my participation at Simon says Stamp wednesday's challenge, which is "use a patterned paper". I had quite some difficulties to find a patterned paper which fits the birth of a boy. I chose this one from Studio Light, this is the reference SCRAPSR02. It is masculine enough to my taste and has this vintage look that I love with the Polka dots and the "oldy" colors. I added to this paper two resin elements... [Lire la suite]

Mixed Media card.../Une carte en Mixed Media

Hello !!   Yesterday, I challenged myself...for a challenge. I am participating for the Finnabair and Friends - Open studio group on Facebook, I created this Mixed Media card with Finnabairs Art Alchemy Paint, metal embellishments, pebbles, microbeads and glitter. This postal card format was a premiere for me, as I am used to work on bigger formats. The subject, chosen by Karolina Bukowska, is "Glitter - Metal - Contrast". That's why I chose the emerald green and the lilac for my subject. It was quite a challenge for myself,... [Lire la suite]
