Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge : Something clear

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing with you my entry to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge : Something clear. I made this fun card:   For my base, I used a very pale turquoise cardstock. I glued a panel of white cardstock which I embossed with the gorgeous "Flourish" embossing folder by Kaisercraft. I die cut a circle out of pattern paper and as my "something clear", I applied Moonstone glimmer paste from Nuvo through my Simon Says Stamp Circular lace cherished stencil. This paste is stunning, I love it and... [Lire la suite]

Clean and Simple Wednesday challenge for Simon Says Stamp!

Hi again...  What, a second post in a few hours? Let's just say that I have been really creative and inspired lately. Since I got my stamping platform AND my first thermoweb foils, I can't stop making cards! And when I saw this week Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge,  Clean and Simple, I decided I had to give a try. Check it out too, they have many gorgeous entries... One of my favorite is from a card maker I just discover, @mycraftyperspective on Instagram. Her cards are so neat and simple, yet delicate. I am... [Lire la suite]

Cute panda card "hugs" for Simon Says Stamp Insta Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing with you one of my entries to Simon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge for August, "Die Cutting". And let me tell you... I had a blast.   Can I say how much I enjoyed stamping this cute little panda over and over on my card panel? It took a while, but I found it very relaxing... I used Simon Says Stamp premium dye ink"DeepSea", Hero Art Shadow Ink "Antigua", and my distressinks in Pine Needle and Peacock feathers.   I stamped each image twice to get a smooth result and thanks to my... You've got some mail ! Simply Create too challenge

Hello crafty friends ! Today is the day the new Simply Create too challenge starts ! This month is aything goes with an optional twist : for a male ! I must confess, I never know what to do for a man... So I decided to do something different, however not quite for a man :). So today is just not a Mixed Media project, just a scrapbooking project I have been inspired by a Facebook post I saw (I think it was on the Create with Prima group):  a lady had created an envelop with the Moon child collection. And I decided to do the same... [Lire la suite]

Blog Hop Connie and Friends : This Magical Moment

Hello crafty friends ! Today I am sharing something very special with you : my very first blog hop ! The theme is Mickey or anything Disney, and I created a lovely card :  I cut an A4 sheet of paper un half and then folded one half in two: this was my card base. After that, I die cut a rectangle with polka dots as a background out of a pink piece of paper and glued it on the front of my card base. On top of it, I used a mini card with Minnie Mouse (I got rid of the back of it) and glued it on top on my dotty background. I... [Lire la suite]

Handmade Junk Journal/ Junk Journal fait main

Hello crafty friends !   For mys first post of the year, I am sharing with you my first creation of the year and my first Junk Journal ever. That's a lot of "first", isn't it ?   I did everything by myself, including the binding and the cover. It was a lot of work (about 7h I think) but I really enjoyed choosing the papers, cutting it at the size I wanted, assemble it and then decorate my journal.... So I think I will do it again :). But differently, as I cut out two spines : I wanted to hide the binding, as I don't... [Lire la suite]

Christmas card/Carte de Noël

Hello crafty friends !   It has been a while I didn't post...Sorry for that, a lot has been going lately and I had very little time for myself (which I spent creating, of course:)). I am sharing this lovely Christmas card with you today :    For this card, I applied a few layers of Distress inks by Ranger (Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Faded Jeans) that I tried to blend together. I glued some stars that I cut with my Sizzix machine, 3 mint triangles of different shapes and different pattern, and a chipboard... [Lire la suite]

Simon Says Stamp challenge: "Splatter It"/ Défi Simon Says Stamp: "

Hello Crafty friends !   Today,  I am going to share with you my last participation to the Smon Says Stamp challenge. This is the Wednesday challenge for this week, and it is called "Splatter it". I really like to splatter my work or create dots, but splatters give a more grungy look. For this challenge, I created this card :  I used a thick sheet of black paper, but I don't remember the paperweight of it. Then, I used my Prima Marketing Watercolor Metallic Accents to make the splatters. I used three colors :... [Lire la suite]

Card "It's a boy" /Carte de naissance "it's a boy"

Hello everyone,   I am sharing with you today this card I made for a friend who got a baby a few weeks ago. This is also my participation at Simon says Stamp wednesday's challenge, which is "use a patterned paper". I had quite some difficulties to find a patterned paper which fits the birth of a boy. I chose this one from Studio Light, this is the reference SCRAPSR02. It is masculine enough to my taste and has this vintage look that I love with the Polka dots and the "oldy" colors. I added to this paper two resin elements... [Lire la suite]

An handmade card for Mother's Day ! Une carte faite-main pour la fête des mères...

Hello Crafty friends !   Today I will share with you the card I made for Mother's day... A simple card, but very elegant and feminine, I think. I started with an A4 sheet of Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White which I cut in half and folded in half to obtain one rectangle of 14 cm (height) over 21 (width). Then I folded this piece in two and obtained another rectangle of 14 (height) x 10.5  cm.(width). I embossed the first side of the card with the wafer die "Single roses" by Simon Says Stamps (my favorite die... [Lire la suite]
