A Stencil Girl Talk tutorial/ Tutoriel pour A Stencil Girl Talk

Hello everybody !   I have a short but special post today... I am very honoured and proud to tell you that I am a guest on A StencilGirl Talk blog ! A few months ago, I applied to be a member of their Design Team. If I am not part of the team, they contacted me back to be one of their guest. And here am I ! I created a tutorial for them and made this canvas, called Ch’aska, Goddess of Stars:   I mainly used acrylic paint, with a bit of modelling paste and a white gel pen. That's it! To find out more, have a look at a... [Lire la suite]

Simon Says Stamp challenge: "Splatter It"/ Défi Simon Says Stamp: "

Hello Crafty friends !   Today,  I am going to share with you my last participation to the Smon Says Stamp challenge. This is the Wednesday challenge for this week, and it is called "Splatter it". I really like to splatter my work or create dots, but splatters give a more grungy look. For this challenge, I created this card :  I used a thick sheet of black paper, but I don't remember the paperweight of it. Then, I used my Prima Marketing Watercolor Metallic Accents to make the splatters. I used three colors :... [Lire la suite]

i created my stamping tool!!!/ J'ai créé mon propre stamping tool!!

Hello crafty friends!   Once month (a bit more) since I wrote my last post, sorry! Today, I am going to share with you something that I am really happy about :  I created my own stamping tool. I have heard about the Misti Stamping tool thanks to Jennifer McGuire and K Werner Design (you can follow their channels on Youtube, they both make cards and they are really inspiring! I love what they do), but I thought this tool is really really expensive. It exist in two format : a mini and a regular one. The Mini is about 45-50... [Lire la suite]

Card "It's a boy" /Carte de naissance "it's a boy"

Hello everyone,   I am sharing with you today this card I made for a friend who got a baby a few weeks ago. This is also my participation at Simon says Stamp wednesday's challenge, which is "use a patterned paper". I had quite some difficulties to find a patterned paper which fits the birth of a boy. I chose this one from Studio Light, this is the reference SCRAPSR02. It is masculine enough to my taste and has this vintage look that I love with the Polka dots and the "oldy" colors. I added to this paper two resin elements... [Lire la suite]

Review - Prima Marketing Finnabair's Acrylic paint/ Revue: la peinture acrylique de Finnabair, Prima Marketing

Hello everyone,   This post is going to be very long, and I apologize in advance. Today I am going to share with you my very first review, about the acrylic paint from Finnabair and Prima Marketing. I am sure there are plenty of reviews, but I wanted to do my own. I don't have (yet :D) every single acrylic paint from Finnabair (I think there are more than 40 colours!) but I am starting to have a nice collection. For now, I have 18 of them, from three different collections, plus a wax (which I won't present now, because it's... [Lire la suite]

Altered fan

Hello everyone...   A quick and short post today to show you my latest creation : for the Prima DTCall, I realized this altered fan with Finnabair's (as usual :)) paint (Metallic Emerald Green), some metal embellishments that I patinated with Viva Décor Inka Gold (lilac), liquid pearls, and Prima Marketing paper flowers (and others)... What do you think? Personally, I love it, and I think it is my favorite Mixed Media creation so far... See you soon!   ... [Lire la suite]

An Altered box : give a new life for a tea box!/ Boîte altérée/récup' : nouvelle vie pour une boîte de thé!

Hello everyone!   Today I am going to share with you a project I realized with Prima Marketing products, and more particularly Finnabair Art Basics pastes and Art Alchemy paints. I wanted to give a second life to a nice cylindrical tea box that I finished. I did not use all the products on the picture, but almost (I changed my mind on the way: creation is a flexible process). First, I covered my box with black gesso and glued almost all my metal elements and pebbles with soft gloss gel or glue. I added some texture with... [Lire la suite]

Mixed Media card.../Une carte en Mixed Media

Hello !!   Yesterday, I challenged myself...for a challenge. I am participating for the Finnabair and Friends - Open studio group on Facebook, I created this Mixed Media card with Finnabairs Art Alchemy Paint, metal embellishments, pebbles, microbeads and glitter. This postal card format was a premiere for me, as I am used to work on bigger formats. The subject, chosen by Karolina Bukowska, is "Glitter - Metal - Contrast". That's why I chose the emerald green and the lilac for my subject. It was quite a challenge for myself,... [Lire la suite]

An handmade card for Mother's Day ! Une carte faite-main pour la fête des mères...

Hello Crafty friends !   Today I will share with you the card I made for Mother's day... A simple card, but very elegant and feminine, I think. I started with an A4 sheet of Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White which I cut in half and folded in half to obtain one rectangle of 14 cm (height) over 21 (width). Then I folded this piece in two and obtained another rectangle of 14 (height) x 10.5  cm.(width). I embossed the first side of the card with the wafer die "Single roses" by Simon Says Stamps (my favorite die... [Lire la suite]

An altered venetian mask, the perfect acessory for a Photo Booth

Hello everyone ! My boyfriend celebrated is 30st birthday last week, and we decided to organize a photo booth as a nice activity for our guests. Besides all the other accessories, I got inspired by Venetian mask and thought I would create myself for this photo booth. I bought a blank mask, got my favorite paints, and the mask was done very quickly. For this piece, I used Finnabair Art Alchemy Metallic Emerald Green and Opal Magic Violet-Green. First, I painted two layers of the lightest color (Violet Green) and then painted the... [Lire la suite]
